Magical Vintage Boutiques

You know those vintage boutiques you stumble across and never forget? There is something so special, unique, and almost magical about them. For me, that boutique is Audrey Vintage in Copenhagen. After hearing that it will be closing, I knew I needed to write about it. As fashion evolves alongside culture, I feel we are losing many special places like Audreys Vintage. People are so focused on fast fashion companies and finding pieces that are trendy that they are missing small businesses like Audreys. While most people would rather buy clothes from a mall or online, many vintage boutiques cannot afford to stay open and end up closing. Soon, we will no longer have these wonderful spots to style ourselves. What makes these vintage shops so special is the unique clothes, little trinkets, jewelry, and accessories that you will never find anywhere else. The most fun I had while shopping in Copenhagen was at Audreys, because every piece or item I picked up was so different. It is so special that these small businesses curate the most unique collections out of vintage items that almost no one else has. In my opinion, thrifting at these stores is more than “shopping”; it is an experience.
