Analyzing Fashion Predictions For 2026

Every year, fashion influencers and bloggers make predictions about what will become popular in the fashion industry, and they are often accurate. While none of us have a magic ball to see what will trend this coming year, there is a method that is not commonly talked about. Looking at runway looks, what celebrities are starting to wear, and understanding what has been trending throughout this year. The most recent high-fashion runway looks reflect what will be trending in the next few months.

Deer print

In the past year, we have been seeing a lot of cheetah print, which was then replaced with polka dots. While the polka dot print is beginning to fade out of trend, I feel like deer print would be the perfect replacement. It is not something that we have seen frequently done, and it is a perfect mix of animal print and polka dots. Deer print actually made an appearance in Tory Burch’s Fall collection at their 2025 show. 

Peacock Feathers

Continuing on with animal patterns, peacock print is my next prediction. I feel like this is pretty underrated in fashion, and I have been wondering why it has not gotten more attention. It is the perfect mix of cool, different, and authentic. We saw a whole lot of peacock Halloween costumes this Halloween season, and I have spotted some pretty cool peacock looks on the runway throughout the past few years. 

Layering Lace

We have been seeing a lot of lace and sheer clothes grow in popularity throughout 2025. I think layering lace under or over clothes would be the perfect move to elevate outfits. It is a more timeless and functional way to style sheer or lace than to wear the delicate materials alone. I feel like this is a more authentic approach to partaking in the trend.

Brooches

I have always felt that brooches are such underrated accessories, and I love spotting them in vintage shops. They can really elevate any outfit. My favorite thing about brooches is that you can find one for just about anything, allowing you to use them to symbolize something meaningful about yourself, like a spirit animal. They are a great conversation piece that adds a special and personal touch to your look.
