A Look into Who Shaped My Style Growing Up

As an early 2000s kid, I was hooked on the Disney Channel. I have always lived for fashion and creativity, so Disney characters were my inspiration growing up. I looked up to these girls I watched on TV and thought that their styles were so cool. To be honest, looking back at the outfits I adored so much as a kid makes me laugh now, but that glitter and animal print that I now find quite hideous was how I expressed myself as a child. I felt most confident when I was making a strong statement through my style. With the help of some Justice and Limited Too pieces, I truly did not feel like I had to hide who I was when I styled my own outfits, and that is something I admire about my younger self. These characters truly helped shape not only my sense of fashion but also my identity.
